The history of the Relais Hotel des Alpes begins in 1973, when grandfather Giovanni gave his son Gianfranco a piece of land for building a house and a barn.
But Gianfranco’s dream was a hotel.
It was the time of the Italian economic boom, when holidays became something not only the rich could afford.
It was the right moment for launching an activity in the tourism sector in the Dolomites.
He could not have made a better choice.
Since 1973, when this little hotel in Soraga counted only 18 rooms, the Brunel family has been managing the same hotel with warmth, professionalism, and experience.
Thirty-seven years have passed and after many expansions (in 1979, in 1986, and in 1996), which have created the hotel you see today , it is now one of the most popular hotels in Val di Fassa.
The most recent works were done this year.
The hall and the bar have been refurbished.
8 suites and 2 panoramic bow windows have been added, the latter allowing to admire the enrosadira phenomenon making the Dolomites turn pink.
In December, finally, the new wellness centre of the hotel will be inaugurated.
But today, just like then, something is still the same: the value of little things…
