After much thought and discussion, we have decided – in order to avoid any tension between our dogs and those of our guests – not to allow any other dogs to stay at the hotel.

At Relais Des Alpes, we love dogs very much and consider them an integral part of our family. A few weeks ago, little Nala arrived – a fawn-coloured Boxer puppy – whom you’ll get to know when you stay with us. Before her, Brina, also a Boxer, was with us for many years; you’ll find a commemorative plaque in her honour in front of the terrace. Then there’s Pepe, who comes to visit us from time to time. We realise this may be a difficult choice and one that not everyone will agree with, but it is a decision we have considered very carefully, whilst also respecting all our guests. The demands on the hotel – including those relating to cleaning and hygiene – are becoming increasingly stringent, and we must guarantee the highest standards for everyone. However, we can recommend the apartments at Cesa Edelweiss Living & Spa in Campitello di Fassa, where dogs are always welcome.
