In Val di Fassa you’ll find:
6 ski areas, 77 ski lifts, 200 km and 150 runs for skiers of all levels. The perfect place to enjoy skiing, learn to ski and have the little ones taught.
The ski slopes can be reached in just a few minutes’ journey from the hotel by ski bus , which provides direct connections to all the valley’s ski areas.
With the Dolomiti Superski ski pass, you can embark on long ski tours, the most famous of which is the Sellaronda and the valley’s hidden gem, the Skitour Panorama: it offers the chance to ski 70 km of slopes, linking three ski areas: Ciampedie, Buffaure-Ciampac and Belvedere-Col Rodella.
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING IN VAL DI FASSA
Cross-country skiing has a long-standing tradition in Val di Fassa, thanks to the Marcialonga, the long-distance marathon which, in 2024, will reach its 51st edition. Thanks to its gentle terrain stretching from Moena to Canazei, the valley offers cross-country skiing enthusiasts truly beautiful trails and centres. There are more than 50 km of trails set amidst breathtaking scenery – the very best that enthusiasts of this sport could hope for. Cross-country skiing, with its elegant stride accompanied by a rhythmic breathing pattern, offers the chance to immerse oneself in a wonderful and deeply relaxing winter setting. The cross-country trails in Val di Fassa are carefully groomed every day, and skiable conditions are guaranteed until the end of the season, especially at higher altitudes.
Cross-country loops, specialist instructors, routes and well-equipped centres offer a great
opportunity for enthusiasts of all levels.
At the San Pellegrino Pass, we always recommend the Alochet cross-country skiing centre, which features several
loops of varying lengths and difficulties, suitable for skiers of all levels, even
the most experienced, set in a wonderful and rejuvenating setting.
THE MARCIALONGA DI FIEMME FASSA – THE CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING MARATHON
For the past 51 editions, the Marcialonga di Fassa e Fiemme has been held on the last Sunday in January for thousands of enthusiasts who come to Val di Fassa from all over the world.
A spectacular 70 km classic-style route, which starts in Moena, passes beneath our hotel, climbs to Pozza, then continues up to Canazei, from where the great descent towards the finish line in Cavalese begins. Complementing the main event are the Minimarcialong and the Marcialonga Young, dedicated to children and teenagers, as well as the Marcialonga Stars.
